Annie Davtian graduated from the Law Faculty of the Russian-Armenian University with honors and has been admitted to the Armenian Bar. In particular, she is a lecturer at the Russian-Armenian University.
Asya Hakobjanyan is a managing partner and specializes in corporate legislation, complex M&A cases, digital reputation management including sanctions compliance clearance. Her practice extends to startups mentorship, tech, private equity and venture capital sectors. She is regularly involved in representing clients’ interests in the European Union and US.
Having broad experience in personal data protection legislation, Asya Hakobjanyan counsels Forbes-list clients on the elimination of existing and potential risks dealing with European and US sanctions banking legislation. In her practice she focuses on excluding the status of “Politically exposed person”, media crisis assessment and removal of defamatory information from open sources. Asya Hakobjanyan conducts due diligence of companies’ compliance with the requirements of intellectual property and has extensive experience in legal disputes, representing clients in courts.
She worked on most precedent-setting international cases in clearance of complex and comprehensive transactions in client business models in launching of products and services.
Prior to joining the Lawsuit Law Firm, Asya held the position as a Head of legal in a Moscow top-ranked law firm focusing on digital reputation matters and occupied leadership positions in consulting companies PwC Legal and ALTHAUS GROUP.
Asya Hakobjanyan graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with bachelor’s degree and holds master’s degree in law from the Institute of Business Law of the Moscow State Law University O.E. Kutafin (MSLA).
Asya is also a member of the ICC in the Banking and Finance Committee.
Anna Khalatyan holds the position of an Associate, concentrating her efforts on all aspects encompassing IP and IT Law, Corporate Law, Migration and Data Protection.
Anna is a member of “Intellectual Property Right Armenian Lawyers” Association and Russian-Armenian University’s EAEU Law scientific group.
She has extensive experience in participating in various international conferences and moot court competitions, including coaching at the EAEU Dispute Resolution Competition.
Prior to joining the Lawsuit Law Firm, Anna started her career as an intern at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and School of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia and worked at a leading law firm.
Anna Khalatyan graduated from Russian-Armenian University with bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure and Master’s degree in Public International Law and European Law.
Michelle Galstyan supports clients in all matters related to intellectual property, as well as business and corporate cases.
Prior to joining the Lawsuit Law Firm she started her career at a leading law firm.
Since 2023 she has been a member of the Association of “Intellectual Property Rights Armenian Lawyers”.
Michelle studied Law at Yerevan State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law. Starting from 2022 she has been a legal advisor in Yerevan State University Legal Clinic. In 2023 she participated in “Trademark Winter School” organized by AIPR.
She successfully passed the “Intellectual Property Rights” course by Advocacy Bureau Counselor, expert in the field of intellectual law Elena Avakyan and “General Course on Intellectual Property” by the World Intellectual Property.

Karén Tonoyan is an Of counsel attorney at the Lawsuit Law Firm. Admitted to both New York and New Jersey bars as a business attorney, he focuses on intellectual property, technological, cybersecurity and AI sectors for startups and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) already operating in the US or planning to enter the market. Karén operates from New York, New Jersey and Armenia.
Having extensive experience in broad range of high-caliber cases in intellectual property and patent applications Karén Tonoyan particularly focuses on electrical, electro-mechanical, and computer-related technologies, including Wi-Fi, 5G, telecommunications, IoT, smart devices, machine learning, neural networks, cloud computing, signals processing, visual and voice recognition, wireless communications, semiconductor manufacturing/processing, video games, and networking.
Karén Tonoyan also protects the interests of content creators, artists and entertainers providing support in the areas of trademark, copyright, intellectual property tools and international agreements.

Karén started his career in the IT field and has worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he specialized in computerized, electronic, and electro-mechanical devices.
Karén holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and in Philosophy from Rutgers University, as well as a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Rutgers Law School.
Karén is a member and a representative of Armenian Bar Association and legal advisor to Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America. He is also Co-Chairperson of Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Committee and Board Member of NY, NJ, CT Chapter. Karén is a representative and conference committee co-chairperson United Armenian Inter-Org (United AIO). He is a volunteer in the Armenian National Committee of America in New Jersey.
Karén is a co-author of the IP and Corporate Law Report prepared in cooperation with the High Tech Ministry and Ministry of Economy. The report contained recommendations for improving Armenia’s IP and startup related law and regulatory framework were enacted as new legislation and regulations in Armenia.
